Gsus López (Zamora, Spain, 1986) is a London-based filmmaker whose work has screened internationally at film festivals and art institutions including Guggenheim Bilbao, CaixaForum Barcelona, MCA Sydney and MAXXI Rome.
His short film OUT (drama/comedy) screened at over 50 festivals, premiered online on FOTOGRAMAS (2019), and is currently available on Filmin.

He holds a BA in Media from the University of the Arts London (2014) and a Diploma in Screenwriting from EICTV Cuba (2019). He was selected for BFI Network x BAFTA Crew (2018–22) and Berlinale Talents (2015).

López focuses on LGBTQ+ and working-class narratives, and is currently developing his debut feature film La Presa, with Centuria Films and Begin Again, which is now in its final stage of development and has begun financing. The project was selected for Dissident House, B3 Hessen Lab (Frankfurt Biennale) and Islas de Ficción (all in 2022); won the Queer Cine Lab (2023); took part in the Ibero-American Network of LGBTIQA+ Labs at the 72nd San Sebastián Film Festival (2024); and is part of the III Extremadura Film Residency (2025/2026).

In parallel, he is working on the documentary SONORA, produced by White Horse (Barcelona), currently in post-production.

Gsus López (Zamora, España, 1986) es un cineasta afincado en Londres cuyo trabajo ha sido proyectado internacionalmente en festivales y espacios como el Guggenheim Bilbao, CaixaForum Barcelona, MCA Sydney o el MAXXI Roma.

Licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad de las Artes de Londres (2014), realizó un Taller Avanzado en Escritura de Guion por la EICTV de Cuba (2019), fue seleccionado para BFI Network x BAFTA Crew (2018–22) y Berlinale Talents (2015).

Su obra se centra en historias LGBTQ+ y de la clase trabajadora. Actualmente desarrolla su primer largometraje, La Presa, junto a Centuria Films y Begin Again, que se encuentra en la fase final de desarrollo y ha iniciado su proceso de financiación. El proyecto ha sido seleccionado por Dissident House, B3 Hessen Lab (Frankfurt Biennale) e Islas de Ficción (todos en 2022); ganó el Queer Cine Lab (2023), formó parte de la Red Iberoamericana de Laboratorios LGBTIQA+ del 72º Festival de San Sebastián (2024) y fue seleccionado para la III Residencia de Cine de Extremadura (2025/2026).
