ENGLISH Gsus López (Zamora, Spain, 1986) is a London-based writer/director whose work has been screened globally at film festivals and institutions including Guggenheim Bilbao, CaixaForum Barcelona, MCA Sydney and MAXXI Roma. His queer short film OUT (drama/comedy), was screened at over 50 festivals worldwide, premiered online on FOTOGRAMAS (2019) and it's available on FILMIN. He earned a BA in Media from the University of the Arts London (2014), and a Screenwriting Diploma at EICTV in Cuba (2019). He was selected for BFI Network x BAFTA Crew (2018–22) and Berlinale Talents (2015). Focused on LGBTQ+ and working-class stories, he is developing, amongst other projects, a feature film titled THE DAM with Centuria Films and Begin Again. The project was selected at Dissident House, B3 Hessen Lab (Frankfurt Biennale), and Islands of Fiction (all in 2022), won the Queer Cine Lab (2023), and took part in the Iberoamerican LGBTIQA+ labs network at the 72nd San Sebastian International Film Festival (2024). | ESPAÑOL Gsus López (Zamora, España, 1986) es un cineasta afincado en Londres cuyo trabajo se ha proyectado a nivel mundial en festivales de cine e instituciones como Guggenheim Bilbao, CaixaForum Barcelona, MCA Sydney y MAXXI Roma. Su cortometraje OUT (drama/comedia), se proyectó en más de 50 festivales, se estrenó online en FOTOGRAMAS (2019) y está disponible en FILMIN. Obtuvo una Licenciatura en Comunicación Audiovisual de la Universidad de las Artes de Londres (2014) y un Diploma de Escritura de Guiones en la EICTV de Cuba (2019). Centrado en historias LGBTQ+ y de la clase trabajadora, está desarrollando, a parte de otros proyectos, un largometraje titulado LA PRESA con Centuria Films y Begin Again.
